The “Remaining” Wrecks

James Barrie

A Grimsby steam trawler that sank under tow in 1969, the 666 ton, 55 metre James Barrie makes a refreshing change from the naval wrecks of the flow. The strong tides in the area restrict when the Barrie can be dived, but ensure great visibility and a different cast of fauna to the Flow wrecks. At 43 metres she makes a great training dive for deep diving and holds enough interest to make you want to come back for more.
